Confident Conversations = One Jazzy Life

Conversation Starter of the Week
How to tame your to-do-list.

Conversation with Yourself

The massive to-do-list is more about the stuff that stays on the list rather than the things that always get done like picking up the dry cleaning. This conversation is about all those things that never get off, like cleaning out your closet, having that conversation with your boss about new opportunities, setting up that meeting with a financial planner or signing up for that class you have been putting off. You like all professional women have two to-do- list running at all times. The one on paper, which I would guess is all about the short term but the one in your head is about the medium and long term life you desire. First organize your to-do-list for the week so you time built in for each of these tips this way you will always be moving towards your goals. Then examine your list and decide what you can delegate and do it.

Tip #1
Short term list
What you do will improve your health, further your career, get you more money or add to your happiness?

Tip # 2
Mid-term growth
What is on my list that will prepare me for two to three years down the line?

Tip #3
Longterm goals
Are any of these items on my to-do-list going to be a catalyst for the lifestyle that I want to be living 10 to 15 years down the road.

The Jazzy Journey Confidence Transformation System is personalized and I invite you to reply to this email to schedule time a complimentary 30 minute One Jazzy Life Discovery Session to start the process of gaining confidence in your ability to invest your time to reflect your One Jazzy Life Agenda.

Conversation with Mentee

This conversation is about planning and organizing to get all of your work done for current and future assignments, it is just that simple. Planning and organizing comes up all the time because the young ladies always say they are cramming for exams, getting homework in late and working on projects at the last minute. Now I know their are people out there who work best like this but there are skills you can reinforce to minimize this stressful experience.Sharing your experience with weekly planning an to-do-list can build the confidence your mentees have in this skill. As with any skill, the more you use it, the more you see how using it makes your life better.

As always, share your experience with learning something new and how it made an impact on your life.

If you have a group of high school or middle school girls that you think could benefit from increasing confidence by learning  cutting edge communication strategies to manage perceptions, improve speaking and much more, check out my movement WHY WAIT.  I will be launching an online summer training real soon. The mission is to get young people dreaming, speaking and performing like there is a bright future for them to be a part of.
